A recent Ninth Circuit Opinion held that Lawyers for Clean Water, Inc.’s client Los Angeles Waterkeeper’s claims for injunctive relief against the County of Los Angeles for the County’s violations of its municipal separate storm sewer system permit were not moot and reversed the district court’s decision.

The United States District Court for the District of Oregon recently stated in Kelsey Cascadia Rose Juliana et al. v. United States of America that “Federal courts too often have been cautious and overly deferential in the arena of environmental law and the world has suffered for it.”
